UB makes its own chocolate at the McVitie’s chocolate refinery in Manchester for its biscuit brands.
The chocolate is designed specifically to work best with the biscuits made by UB, for example Chocolate Digestives, Chocolate Hob Nobs and Penguin biscuits.
UB has developed long term partnerships with cocoa growers in West Africa and is a member of industry groups that support worldwide cocoa sustainability projects.
As well as being a delicious element of many biscuits, dark chocolate is thought to have beneficial effects on health.
